Blue & White Bombshell
Previous to the renovation, this space was 3 compartmentalized spaces consisting of formal dining, the kitchen, and then informal dining. We opened it up to make it into one 2019 ASID Award Winning Design. The pop of olive green allow to tie in the adjoining rooms, but offers a feature wall to display the clients fine China in an existing cabinet...creating a fun & welcoming dining area with plenty of room to flow. This open space also allows for multiple users in the kitchen to make a meal together while being able to still be a part of a conversation of guest sitting in the dining area. Although a counter depth refrigerator would have been ideal, it is all about the clients and their needs...so if more space is needed due to a larger family it is okay to break the rules! Custom cabinets were add to the end of the wall of cabinets for items like brooms & cleaning supplies so not to take up more space than needed...but to be put away neatly.
