This complete kitchen renovation is the perfect blend of country and refinement. The space includes several custom features that make it elegant, yet inviting: a cathedral beamed ceiling, a barrel-vaulted sitting area with fireplace, and furniture pieces created with custom cabinetry which serve as pantries. The cabinetry is Wood-Mode 84 frameless, Kensington Raised door style. The perimeter cabinets are Vintage Nordic (paint with glaze) on maple, the island is Bistro (stain) on cherry. The appliances are Sub-Zero and Wolf. The countertops are polished Black Absolute granite, with a matching backsplash custom-designed by Connecticut Kitchen Design.
