Hidden Hills, CA, Kitchen Renovation
This sprawling 1960s ranch house in the gated equestrian community of Hidden Hills, CA, was updated, not gutted. We kept much of the cabinetry, but had to rebuild the tall oven cabinet to fit the new wall oven. The glass hutch was added for much needed storage space that didn't block the view to the brick fireplace and dining area. The sink cabinet was rebuilt to accommodate the French Herbeau farmhouse sink. Beadboard was added to the ends of the cabinets, and the original island stained dark for contrast. Versailles pattern stone floors complete the French country look.
