Residential home theatre project in duplex (semi-detached) home basement with a clean, neutral, simple, and contemporary look. A neutral colour palette was chosen so that the image would remain the strongest focal point during movie showings. The central dark gray panel helps draw and maintain the eye's attention to the action on-screen.
The room's layout priority was to maintain a strong central audio sweet spot (for 2-channel audiophile listeners) as well as maintaining excellent sight lines for movie viewers (even for those seated off-centre).
The room features an array of dimmable 35W GU10 halogen spotlights to compliment the movie-watching experience.
