Italian contemporary bath with old world basics
Renovating a 1970's master suite required thoughtful design and careful planning. The end result is a gorgeous, open, univeral design allowing full access to all features. The flooring and roll in shower are covered in beautiful old world travertine in a custom pattern to use overstock materials purchased at a builder closeout. The walls are clad in the always stunning 3x6 Lush glass tiles in a custom pattern designed by BY DESIGN to mimic an existing 1x2 pattern called "The Hamptons." The contemporary wall-mount vanity, flip up medicine cabinet and wall-mount storage cabinets are Italian Design. The commode is hidden around the backside of the wall-mount storage cabinets thus allowing for no door while maintaining total privacy. All plumbing fixtures are by Grohe.
