Pool Enclosure
Pool enclosures often provide unique challenges, and this one in the Hamptons was no exception. The client wanted to enclose a 50 feet long by 10 feet wide lap pool for all year round use. The room was to be connected to the main residence at one end and to an office/garage at the other end. The two buildings were not exactly at right angles to each other and there was a considerable difference between the floor levels. Added to that there were very different roof lines on the existing buildings. The design of the pool enclosure roof had to accommodate these features as well as dealing with the rainwater run off and potential snow build up.
