Southampton Residence, Houston
The cozy dining room is grounded by a large-scale patterned area rug which compliments the small-scale Stark carpet in the adjacent living room. A black lantern from New Orleans punctuates the neutral space and hangs over a monks table from France, surrounded by leather-and-fabric upholstered dining chairs and a Art Deco bamboo and rattan settee. Custom corner cabinets were added for both architectural interest and additional storage.
