hi there, was the exposed brick wall in this image created with bricks or brick slips? i am looking to do a similar idea in my new extension, however i am after advice on what to use, especially as i would like to have plug sockets and lights, but i have been advised this isn't an easy task if using brick slips. any advice would be appreciated.
Hi , they are brick slips . sockets can be put in the wall but will not lie completely flat . have to accept some small gaps around the finishing plate .its not complicated to do its just not being installed on a flat surface .
@corbsta99 why not use a pop-up socket on the counter top and avoid ruining the look of your brick slip wall? There are many versions of these and you can even include USB charging sockets too.
