A little bump up in the ceiling with a nice hanging light in the dining room.
Knock out the ceiling and paint the rafters in the living room.
Dad’s bedroom might look good in a masculine sage green.
Bold colors for Dads bedroom. We could paint the white ikea bookcases to make them look like they’re part of the wall instead of individual shelves.

This color is called Epernay by C2 and is supposedly one of 9 up and coming colors for the new year (this was my favorite of the nine.). It was described as the lightest and brightest of the 9 and considered a “warm white”.

We can use those two ikea bookcases (the ones we bought when you were with us) to put on either side of Dad’s bed and a small cheap bench (or storage chest) on the end of his bed so he can sit & put his shoes on. Those bookcases have two drawers on them so it would be ideal for storage for him plus all his books.
I would love to have a small decorative piece of wallpaper like this in the smallest bathroom. :)
I like the idea of all drawers under the counter top, and this one has the cute table extension on the end.
