I highly recommend Beacon Rock Custom Builders. They did an excellent job of repairing our rental for occupancy. There was a great deal of work that needed to be accomplished and they made the repairs in a timely manner. Their workmanship was professional and well done. I appreciated their kindness and desire to please. I plan to continue use their services in my other rental and my home.

We had a whole-house remodel. Jeff Bates helped with the design - and we were glad for his guidance and advice. The crew did an exceptional job meeting the budget and proposed time. They were highly professional and technically skilled. Jeff managed the different trades in such a way to eliminate wasted time. Jeff was thoughtful and understood the difficulties of remodels. I am glad we trusted him - and would do it again!

We hired beacon rock builders to complete our remodel in June of 2018 and finally had a proposal in August of 2018. Work started in September of 2018 with workers showing up very rarely for the first 2 months. We asked why more work wasn’t being done and were told it was all part of the process and was planned out. Per our proposal the completion date was December 13 2018. Well here we are on January 14 over a month late and the job still isn’t done. This builder has mistakenly on our part already been paid the complete project amount which should not have been as a quarter of the total project amount was supposed to be due upon completion which hasn’t happened yet. This contractor at the very minimum has not been up front and honest with us and I would highly not recommend them

It was unfortunate that the homeowner felt this way when their project was in the final stages. We have since completed the renovation to their approval and, because of our commitment to our customers' satisfaction, we continue to perform warranty work at their request. When this review was written the homeowner was particularly frustrated with the cabinet company which had made some mistakes during the project. The cabinet installer did correct everything, but the homeowner was understandably frustrated (as were we) during the installation.

Finally, in response to the timeline and payment concerns expressed by the homeowner in his review: both of these issues were due to change orders made at the homeowner's request. The payments already made at the time of his review did total up to the amount of the initial contract; however, there had been several change orders made that had increased the total amount due. We do not send out a final billing until the project has been completed.

To help prevent this sort of misunderstandings from happening again, we have adopted an online project management portal where our homeowners can log in and see the build schedule, contracts, payments, allowances and change orders. When homeowners would like to make a change to the scope of the project (also known as a change order), we give them a price, show them the effect on the project completion date, and get written approval so that everyone can remember what was discussed. With projects of this scope--where we have, literally, hundreds of conversations with our clients--we want to make sure that everyone is on the same page. We always try to err on the side of over-communicatation and encourage our homeowners to reach out to us if they have any concerns or questions.

They helped us redo our kitchen and took care of removing the popcorn and re-texturing the celling in all of our rooms. The ceilings look fantastic! The kitchen renovations they recommended were very effective in utilizing our space and making it work for our family. And the price was right for us!

I hired Beacon Rock to put new flooring, new windows and doors, a half bath, a full bath, to remove an achway and square it off, and to remodel my fireplace The quality of their work was excellent. I am was well pleased and currently have hired them again to remodel my master bath as well.

Ryan remodeled a kitchen in a rental home of mine. The project had been bid with another contractor who failed to complete the job and Ryan Bates picked up the project and did a wonderful job. The kitchen looked great and his price was better that the original contractor. I highly recommend Beacon Rock!

We hired Beacon Rock to remodel our old house after renting it out for 5 yrs. They were easy to work with and responsive to all my questions and changes along the way. They did a great job, are easy to work with and it looks great. We were able to get multiple full price offers the first day on the market even thought I priced near the top of the neighborhood. :) I'm very happy with their work.
