“My wife and I embarked on an in city build of our home in Asheville after falling in love with this small city and stumbling upon a rare available lot quite walkable to downtown. The year prior to this, when we were quite content to rent longterm, we went with close friends who were eager to build here on a tour of Jade Mountain built homes locally. “Thompson Properties was very accountable in the building of my home at Balsam Mountain Preserve. Even after a year when we had a bad freeze John Thompson jumped when we call for help. He drove up and assisted us understanding what you do when you have frozen pipes. He discovered why it had occurred and corrected by putting further insulation where it was required. The true problem had originated in the fact that the heated floor system did not have an anti-freeze product. This was not their installation but he was able to discover what should be done to correct this so that we would not have it happen again. Six years later and we have never had a repeat performance. I would highly advise using this group for building your home.”
