After we talked with John about how we would like to improve the functionality and privacy of our back yard, while tying it in with our existing landscaping, John presented us with a great design. He was very knowledgable about the products he would use, and presented an estimate of cost that seemed reasonable. His employees were efficient and respectful, and the work was done in a timely fashion. They accommodated a few changes and additions we made along the way, and even after the job was done. John went through an inspection with us prior to final payment. The finished product exceeded our expectations, yet stayed within the budget. We would recommend, and have recommended, Jovak Landscape & Design without hesitation to anyone who is looking for an honest, reliable and talented landscaper.”

He explained what he needed to do, gave me a detailed estimate, began the job exactly when he said he would, and worked on it every day until it was completed. He takes justifiable pride in his his work, uses quality materials, follows the Building Code. He has great design ideas and produces a fine product built to last.

“We are a small apartment complex in Tsawwassen. Needed a roof top deck of 900 square ft replaced in a short time frame. Marc and his crew responded quickly and even though the weather was poor (December) worked to get it done fast but ensured the finished job was excellent. Took great care to frame and lay the Trex so the finished job not only looked great but we are confident it will last and look good well into the future. Crew were polite and considerate. Can thoroughly recommend if you want a quality product.”

“CC leveled and put paving stones on my rear deck area. They were punctual, respectful, friendly and worked very hard. They used a creative idea on the stairs that is my favourite feature. There have been no sinking nor shifting of the stones. There are a couple minor angle issues which kept me from giving 5 stars. I have recommended these guys and will continue to do so; not for their low prices, but for the quality of my experience with them..”

“Blue Bear Landscape Concstruction (Mike Koch) has transformed a problem spot in our garden into a fascinating meditation garden with a contemporary water feature and a careful selection of plants, rocks, and driftwood. This job included the construction of a small rock wall and the installation of feature lights. There is always something blooming yet at the same time it is low maintenance. We are often observing different birds and squirrels that visit the water fountain or the flowers.
Mike was pleasant to have around. He is a hardworking fellow who completed the job on time and on budget. We appreciated his design skills to create such an enjoyable tranquil spot. Mike's work does not only look good on the surface, he knows how to build solidly underneath to make things last. We are planning to hire Mike again to re-design our front yard and entrance area. I recommend Mike's work to my friends and family.”
