“Terrific from start to finish! HFD was able to able to update our tired kitchen and family room. Made it beautiful as well as functional (I Love to cook and finally have a kitchen that "works"!) Lots of options in terms of pricing - Alicia always presented 3-4 possibilities for each piece we bought that covered a range in pricing. She was professional and knowledgeable and frankly easy to communicate with. She is connected with some terrific suppliers - we got the stone that everyone else wanted!!!! She has great vision and can make it happen!”

“Michael and his staff were amazing. I couldn't imagine building a house without a designer... I searched and searched all over Buffalo and the only one who fit what I was looking for was Michael P and his Room staff... It is a decision I do not regret at all... We worked together over the 9 months my house was being built and are still working on projects a year later. People walk in my house and are in awe. It is exactly what I was looking for and I cannot say enough about the service I received.”

She is has the great ability to see fresh ways of using your own things and you never feel that you have to get rid of everything you love. She looks at spaces in a very unique way to help you use every nook and cranny in its most advantageous way. Her kitchen design is spectacular and practical as is all of her millwork. She is a delight to work with and really understands the customer's viewpoint. If you appreciate an 'out of the box' thinker with some unique and fashionable ideas, this is the designer for you.”

“After removing the wall between our kitchen and living/dining room, I was overwhelmed with all the design and decorating decisions to be made. Janet helped enormously giving me great insight, helping with the details and giving alternatives I had never thought about. She helped with lighting choices, floor finishes, tiles and colour schemes by offering many choices and giving guidance for the final decision. Janet also let me know good places to shop to stay within my budget. Thanks Janet, I could not have done it without you”

“My wife and I have used the interior design services of Allison Thibault (Kaleidoscope Design Studio) on several occasions and at different locations during the past 2-3 years. Our experience with her has consistently been excellent. She has provided space planning and furniture solutions that are far better than anything we could possibly have achieved on our own. She is very organized in her approach to design. Understanding our needs/wants as a client, she has provided multiple alternative design strategies, combined with her recommendations on how we should proceed. In every instance, the end result has been outstanding. We frequently receive compliments from friends and visitors to our homes and some of them have chosen to use Allison as well.
