“We worked with Parkyn Design on our new home build. Soon after our architectural plans were done, we got Tania Parkyn and her team involved in the process. This timing was paramount to them understanding our big vision. Three things stand out from our work with Parkyn Design. First, one of the biggest strengths Tania demonstrated was her ability to really listen and understand what we wanted. She really did hear everything we said: our ideas, our dreams, our likes, our dislikes. We saw proof of this in the end results when our home seemed to fit us like a glove. Second, Tania’s experience ensured that our home would be timeless, yet incredibly unique and personal to us. Because Parkyn Design is current with trends and ahead of the curve on what’s coming, we were introduced to new products and materials which made the choices for everything both practical and leading edge. Finally, as first time homebuilders, the process of building, designing and decorating a home can be very intimidating. Parkyn Design made this process fun and enjoyable. Tania and her team brought such excitement and passion to our job! Sometimes it was hard to tell who was more excited - them or us! Overall, this is a top-notch design studio. If you want experience, intelligent thinking and fantastic results, then Parkyn Design is the studio for you.”

“Karin Bennett has such a natural flair for design. It's absolutely her calling. From the placement of simple objects, to inventive upcycling, to colour selections, wallpaper choices, and picking the perfect materials - everything she touches is pure perfection. Karin helped me create a living room space that maximized furniture placement despite tricky walkthroughs and focal points. Simple suggestions yielded stellar results. Her positive energy is a joy to be around and her professionalism and experience creates a lot of confidence in her work. I'd recommend her to others with full confidence.”

“Rebecca, RacK Design was amazing to work with! I run a not-for-profit business that need a lot of work for not a huge budget. She was amazing at coming up with ideas outside of the box, brought the building into 2020 with respecting its historical charm and was hands on through the process. “This is the second time in four years that we have used Karen Cole as our Designer. She is has the great ability to see fresh ways of using your own things and you never feel that you have to get rid of everything you love. She looks at spaces in a very unique way to help you use every nook and cranny in its most advantageous way. Her kitchen design is spectacular and practical as is all of her millwork. She is a delight to work with and really understands the customer's viewpoint. If you appreciate an 'out of the box' thinker with some unique and fashionable ideas, this is the designer for you.”

“Terrific from start to finish! HFD was able to able to update our tired kitchen and family room. Made it beautiful as well as functional (I Love to cook and finally have a kitchen that "works"!) Lots of options in terms of pricing - Alicia always presented 3-4 possibilities for each piece we bought that covered a range in pricing. She was professional and knowledgeable and frankly easy to communicate with. She is connected with some terrific suppliers - we got the stone that everyone else wanted!!!! She has great vision and can make it happen!”

“Sarah did an amazing job helping us with our basement renovation. We have a small space with some constraints from the original construction of the house, and Sarah nonetheless managed to create a bright and open space that doesn't feel like a basement at all. She also gave us different options at various price points for furniture, and when we wanted some modifications, she quickly turned those around and met ours needs perfectly. If we ever have another home renovation project, we'd absolutely go back to Sarah for our design needs.”

“Michael and his staff were amazing. I couldn't imagine building a house without a designer... I searched and searched all over Buffalo and the only one who fit what I was looking for was Michael P and his Room staff... It is a decision I do not regret at all... We worked together over the 9 months my house was being built and are still working on projects a year later. People walk in my house and are in awe. It is exactly what I was looking for and I cannot say enough about the service I received.”

“Finally my basement storage is organized. Thank you so much for organizing and creating so much more useful space than I could have imagined. I now have a wine storage and decanting area, an extra pantry and proper organized storage for all my household items. Thanks for making organizing my garage fun!
