“Jane Ellison did a wonderul job refurnishing our family room. Prior to her work we spent little time in it and now it is our favorit place to be. It is warm, inviting and comfortable. Guests marvel over it. She is very comfortable to work with and she makes suggestions but does not push what she thinkgs. She has a pleasant way of drawing out of from us what we would like but are not quite able to define. My wife and I highly recommend her. ”

“Ariel has such a light hand and does everything with such ease! My partner and I were overwhelmed with trying to quickly furnish our new home and starting with almost nothing. I tend to overthink every decision, so I really needed help bringing together a cohesive design and be confident in our decision making. This was also at the time that everything was out of stock, and Ariel was able to source items that were almost all entirely in stock. Ariel really listened to the exact requirements we had for our unique space and made sure that each piece would fit just right, with an emphasis on quality and longevity. More importantly, she helped us be brave when it came to bold design decisions. A dark and moody dining space is not something we would have ever thought of on our own, let alone been confident enough to execute. It ended up being the most stylish corner in our home, has such a Chicago vibe, and continues to be the source of inspiration for or other design decisions. Ariel really helped us quickly get from zero (literally only a mattress on the floor) to fully furnished in a matter of a couple of months. We are still putting together finishing touches and decorative elements, and Ariel's online design resources are really helpful for that as well.”

“Very generous designer who made my tiny rental feel spacious and bright! So grateful for Jenn’s excellent list of recommendations she offered me within 24 hours after seeing my home. She helped me realize that my space doesn’t have to be or feel small by changing a few simple things such as, painting the interior, raising all the curtain rods to make my ceiling feel higher, layer cowhides on the cold tiled floor, moved my paintings around that made more sense to view, helped me find beautiful decorative pillows, dining table and chairs, and the most comfy modern chair and ottoman we all fight over to sit in and most importantly she suggested many choices to choose from to change out all the old dated light fixtures. I learned that investing in great curtains, sconces to lamp shades would be worth the investment since I can take them with me if and when I ever move. My home now feels spacious, fun and festive to visit and a whole lot bigger and brighter because I used every single one of Jenn’s innovative ideas. Loved her smart suggestions and felt she respected my small budget and made it work besides making my cozy place a place all my friends and family love to visit. “We hired Hellen Hsieh, the owner of Design Loft Company, to design our 725 sq ft great room addition. We are so incredibly thrilled with the completed project, it is exactly what we had envisioned. Our existing house was a 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The kitchen and living area was very modest. With two teenagers at home, we needed to expand and wanted more room to entertain. When we started the project we were uncertain if we should knock down walls and remodel the current floor plan and add a small addition or keep the footprint of the existing house exactly the same and add on one large great room. We decided to do the later, however, to get to this point, we went through several different renderings. Hellen provided us with many great options and helped us decide what would be the most economical and feasible plan. She was flexible, patient and was great about pointing out the pros and cons of each option. Her interactions with our architect , contractor and cabinet supplier went very smoothly which helped us to meet specific deadlines. Hellen was maticulous when it came to the kitchen cabinets and made sure everything was ordered properly and our custom stain came out exactly how we wanted. As a designer, she is very creative and knowledgeable. She understood the style and feel we were after. More importantly she was very conscious and respectful of our monetary constraints which helped us complete our entire project within budget. What impressed us most was her understanding of the build process: from the contractors needs, the city requirements, realistic costs and time estimates, appliance installation prerequisites and inspection requirements. We couldn't be more pleased with Design Loft and Hellen's professionalism.”

“Tiffany has been a wonderful asset to our project. She provided samples and walked me through different color options. Her referrals for getting tile, blinds, and other finishes were fantastic. She helped us when we really needed it and gave us the space to make our own decisions. Even our contractor was impressed with the final colors! I've recommended her to my friends.”

“I have worked with Vicki and trusted her judgment on many projects for my home. She is easy to work with and I have been very pleased with her work. Friends and family are so impressed with things Vicki has done for me . She seems to just have such an eye for knowing what is needed to make living space easier to live and function in. Vicki sees things and has ideas that I would never think of. And she does this with a very limited budget that I sometimes have. She is easy to work with and very up front with what she is able to do with the money I have to spend. That really reduces the stress that can can come with a project. I know when I work with Vicki on a project that she will be honest with me about scheduling, stay in budget, and see the project through. I feel fortunate to have had Vicki to call on for the projects I have done.”

“Jen guided us through an extensive remodel and redesign of our first (and hopefully forever) home. We could never have done it without her. Jen spent time upfront to really get to know us and our desired style and then brought us incredibly creative and unique ideas that have made our home truly ours - one that is stylish but also suits the life of our family...and does not look like it's been staged or repurposed someone else's plans. On top of providing design support for nearly a dozen rooms, Jen also managed all the contractors and construction and painting work. Nearly four years later, we LOVE our home and continually get complimented on the design. We feel so lucky to have worked with Jen!”
