“Highest Commendations for Tangerine Design. Jill creates functional, aesthetic & budget conscious designs to fit any need. We own apartments and use her ideas to attract higher end clients. Our meetings begin with a walk-through and ideas emerge from the ensuing conversation. Her architectural background results in "functional" layout recommendations that optimize space and flow. An Aesthetic "top-coat" follows--- keeping in mind the design style of the client, layout and budget. Jill can "Manage" or recommend contractors to bring the projects completion. This is an added bonus as many people don't have the time or knowledge to realize their conception. Her strong suit is the ease of communication as is evidenced by her Award Winning Ratings on Angie's List My highest recommendation goes to her company and especially her.”

“Vimaa was great. Promptly responded to my request, listened to my fairly vague idea/request, and let me know that anything was possible! Her electrician met with me, conveniently on my next available day off, and came back a few days later and completed the job. Done perfectly and my wife and I couldn’t be happier. We will definitely reach out to her if we have any additional home projects come up.”

“My husband and I initially hired Gita Jacobson from “in the details” for complete renovations of the kitchen Gita is a great communicator, listens to client’s needs, is responsive and manages projects with great efficiency. She is extremely creative and was an absolute joy to work with her. Gita’s guidance brought a new ideas to my color/materials preferences and gave me confidence to break out of the expected. Her creative solutions turned problems into unique finishing touches: for example, using two different type of tiles for back-splash and chasing the correct counter top. During the renovation, she came by the house when we needed her advice and she was on time we met to look at materials off site. Gita was professional but also a source of creative details of our kitchen.”

“I had a fantastic experience working with Kimberley Harrison Interiors. Kim was instrumental in helping me re-design my formal dining room. In particular, my Kreiss dining room set needed re-upholstering. I had put the project off for the longest time as could not make a decision on the design direction. Kim offered the ideal combination of patience and expertise to guide me in finding exactly what I wanted. The end result is a formal dining area that I love and fits my family's lifestyle perfectly. Kim's eye for detail, dedication to meeting individual taste and style and commitment to delivering outstanding quality and service puts Kimberley Harrison Interiors in a class by itself. “Nadja was able to walk into our kitchen and dining room and immediately come up with great ideas for re-doing the entire space. She explained her process thoroughly, which was helpful for us novices, and she was always easy to talk with through out the entire process. We wanted a more "transitional" style than her usual modern style, and she was able to help us with design elements that worked for us. We loved that Nadja will share her opinions with you - we wanted her expertise, but she is flexible enough to work around any specific elements you really love. We hope to work with Nadja again on additional projects, and we highly recommend her.”

“My husband and I worked with Davis Home Pro on an extensive remodel of our 2,000 sq/ft home in Orinda. We took everything down to the studs and DHP did all new electrical, plumbing, dry wall, flooring, etc. Everyone we talked to cautioned us that our project would likely go way over budget and way over schedule. To our delight, this was not the case. DHP worked within our budget and provided alternatives when we need to cut costs. They were extremely up front with us from the get go and we knew exactly how much we were spending and when we went over budget it was our choice - not because we were forced into it or misled. Perhaps more importantly (we were expecting our first baby in the middle of this project), they were ON TIME. These two factors make them 5 stars in my opinion. I would say the quality of their work is very high. We have experienced some minor issues, like doors scraping floors or counters needing additional caulking. But DHP was quick to resolve during our 1-year warranty agreement. In addition to all this, Jason, Richard, Pete and team were a pleasure to work with. Extremely pro active and really nice people. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for jobs big and small.”

“Diablo Valley Cabinetry provided one of the best remodel experiences that we have had. Not only with the outcome the most beautiful product that we could have asked for, but the process was smooth as well. They were very involved with every detail and the owner actually came to our house on many occasions to oversee everything! I have never experienced that kind of service from another company. They are professional in every aspect of their dealings and they truly provide top of the line product. I will absolutely use them again for future projects and highly recommend them for both projects big and small. Thank you for actually making the process of a remodel pleasant!”

“I met with Alissa to discuss my plans for a design plan for a second kitchen in my house. I found her to be practical, honest and detail oriented. Even thought I did not end up working with her (because my project was very small and more of a do-it yourself type of plan, she explained), she gave me a lot of good ideas on how to save money and simplify my plan. I had planned to put in a lot of expensive custom made cupboards and a bar. She recommended that I use the shelving that was already in place and use a pre-fab bar rather than a custom made one. I just went to the store and found sliding glass doors to cover the shelves and a bar that folds into a table. It will save a good amount of money. I appreciated Alissa's suggestions and patience and would definitely hire her for a bigger project in the future.”
