“Hiring Wayne Christian to do our kitchen remodel was the absolute best decision we made in the entire project. We had to bury a 17 foot steel I-beam in the ceiling to hold up the 2nd story of our house in order to remove a wall that opened up our space. There were many obstacles in doing this, including routing of electrical, plumbing vents, and venting of our exhaust hood to the outside. Wayne always had a solution and discussed options with us. Despite the additional time involved to do some of this, he was extremely fair with change orders and we never felt "nickeled and dimed." He worked very well with other parties including the kitchen designer, the cabinet installer, and the granite fabricator/installer so that led to a minimum of problems during the job. He works alone (although sometimes with his son Andrew in the summer) so if you are looking for the fastest job, look elsewhere. But he was diligent in keeping our job moving forward with very few days that he had to go to another client/project. Wayne is a terrific person, very creative, very meticulous, and always conscious of minimizing the disruption on us. We feel he has become a friend, plus someone we would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. All-in-all, it was the best experience we've ever had with a remodeling contractor. Highly recommended! “We hired Hellen Hsieh, the owner of Design Loft Company, to design our 725 sq ft great room addition. We are so incredibly thrilled with the completed project, it is exactly what we had envisioned. Our existing house was a 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The kitchen and living area was very modest. With two teenagers at home, we needed to expand and wanted more room to entertain. When we started the project we were uncertain if we should knock down walls and remodel the current floor plan and add a small addition or keep the footprint of the existing house exactly the same and add on one large great room. We decided to do the later, however, to get to this point, we went through several different renderings. Hellen provided us with many great options and helped us decide what would be the most economical and feasible plan. She was flexible, patient and was great about pointing out the pros and cons of each option. Her interactions with our architect , contractor and cabinet supplier went very smoothly which helped us to meet specific deadlines. Hellen was maticulous when it came to the kitchen cabinets and made sure everything was ordered properly and our custom stain came out exactly how we wanted. As a designer, she is very creative and knowledgeable. She understood the style and feel we were after. More importantly she was very conscious and respectful of our monetary constraints which helped us complete our entire project within budget. What impressed us most was her understanding of the build process: from the contractors needs, the city requirements, realistic costs and time estimates, appliance installation prerequisites and inspection requirements. We couldn't be more pleased with Design Loft and Hellen's professionalism.”

“I met with Alissa to discuss my plans for a design plan for a second kitchen in my house. I found her to be practical, honest and detail oriented. Even thought I did not end up working with her (because my project was very small and more of a do-it yourself type of plan, she explained), she gave me a lot of good ideas on how to save money and simplify my plan. I had planned to put in a lot of expensive custom made cupboards and a bar. She recommended that I use the shelving that was already in place and use a pre-fab bar rather than a custom made one. I just went to the store and found sliding glass doors to cover the shelves and a bar that folds into a table. It will save a good amount of money. I appreciated Alissa's suggestions and patience and would definitely hire her for a bigger project in the future.”

“Solid team that knows what they are doing. The team at Green Planet Remodeling helped me renovate 2 bathrooms - and remedied a lot of the shoddy work that was lurking behind the wall (thanks to my crappy builder for those surprises). Good guys that were efficient and professional through the whole experience. They even provided me with a 3D Design for both of the bathrooms that another company wanted to charge me for! Easy to communicate. Highly recommend!”

“Kelly was extremely professional and her knowledge about interior decorating is excellent. She asked me several questions to receive a better understanding of what type of furniture that I liked and then provided me with several photos of excellent well-made furniture. Kelly's furniture and artwork prices are extremely reasonable. Her follow through was phenomenal from ordering the furniture, developing it, shipping and most important asking me if I was satisfied with the furniture.
