Tumbled glass, underlighted with LED light rope. These glass panels glow at night. They are connected to a low voltage transfomer. I saved clear glass, then broke it up with a hammer and tumbled it in a cement mixer. It only takes about 40 minutes to make the shards completely safe. You can ram your hand into this stuff with immunity. Very interesting. Imagine guiding a person to a destination with a ribbon of light, compared to the common walkway light

A small entry garden for a historic home over looking the scenic Hudson River. A white trellis screens the street. Brick and blue stone were used for the walkway. A blend of tulips were used for some striking spring color. This front yard entry garden is located in Palisades, NY.

Modern farmhouse gets a new entry to the sunken front door. Custom concrete board-form walls, stone veneer, bluestone inlay, custom floating benches, and wood fence screening all installed in the courtyard space. Existing planters replanted, and a new driveway round out the complete change in the front yard.

After moving into a mid-century ranch home on Spokane's South Hill, these homeowners gave the tired landscape a dramatic makeover. The aging asphalt driveway was replaced by precast concrete pavers that coordinate with a new walkway of sandwashed concrete pads. A pared-down front lawn reduces the overall water use of the landscape, while sculptural boulders add character. A small flagstone patio creates a spot to enjoy the outdoors in the courtyard-like area between the house and the towering ponderosa pines. The backyard received a similar update, with a new garden area, water feature, and paver patio anchoring the updated space.
Stone Farm
What an approach! A combination of European sandstone, reclaimed curbing and Belgian Porphyry squares create one stunning and functional driveway, built to last a lifetime.

The meandering flagstone pathway is planted with dymondia margaretae and blue chalksticks (Senecio serpens). The blues are often punctuated with dark browns of aeonium arboreum and phormium jack spratt.
