Ranieri Construction LLCThe Primo fireplace by Heat & Glo gives the option to hang a TV above the fireplace which is what most homeowners are trying to accomplish. The heat can be vented away from the fireplace and into the room or outside, rather than directly above which would ruin a television.
The fireplace surround is slate laid in a herringbone pattern. Stacked ledger stone was laid in the niches behind custom made floating shelves that were stained to match 2 beautiful framed landscape photos the homeowners already owned.
The fireplace we removed was a standard square gas log fireplace with a drywall surround. We raised the new linear (ribbon) fireplace to be at eye level, when sitting on the family couch, to be a focal point in the room.
Grand Bay Building and Remodelingthe outdated kitchen with old railing were remodeled to the current design. The old turned spindle rail was replaced with cabinetry and open shelving - the old fireplace now holds a flat screen tv which matches the space with the needs of today's family
Foremost InteriorsA modern rustic great room connected to a board and battened hallway. The great room features medium hard wood floors, white cabinets, serine furnishings and a traditional fireplace.
Carl Mattison DesignThe fireplace mantel was enlarged to go up the wall entirely so that it had a more impressive look to the area of the room where doors flanked it. The tile, while vintage in look is modern in it's size of 2" x 10".

Quarry MillThe Quarry Mill's Salem natural thin stone veneer complements the cozy feel of this shabby-chic living area. Salem natural stone veneer brings a relaxing blend of granites sourced throughout New England. The stone is characterized as a castle rock style due to the large rectangular pieces of stone. This style is also referred to as square-rectangular or square-rec for short. The individual pieces can range from 4″-12″ in height allowing your mason to create a natural looking wall with non-repeating patterns. Salem thin stone veneer is most commonly found on large scale exterior projects. The stones will be snapped (a natural and still rustic looking edge created by breaking the stone with a hydraulic press) on all four sides. The castle rock is almost always installed with a mortar joint between the pieces of stone.
