Chad Davies. Room transformed from a nursery to a toddler boys room. Space taken from closet in next bedroom and created a built in loft bed with a play space below.
Girl About The House
We painted a storage unit blue and added animal handles to it. Then we used it to hold toys in storage baskets.

I created a feminine home office with just a hint of my geeky side! This room was done on a very tight budget. I backed the shelves with a shower curtain I found on clearance. The chandelier was also a clearance item that I spray painted pink.

Dormitorio con gran profusión de texturas y colores, así como elementos que permiten desarrollar la imaginación infantil.
Girl About The House
I painted a cloudy sky and hung hand made vines from it.
Twisted sacking with pieces of ivy fastened to them worked well. I made pelmets with tropical leaves to hang the dark wooden blinds to.
finally I hung 2 monkeys as if they were swinging through the forest on them.

We turned a small unused room in the back of this house into a playroom for young children. Highlights include custom photo wallpaper (which is adhesive backed and can be peeled away without wall damage), a custom book wall and a wall system allowing easy rotation of kids' art.

The brief for this study had to portray an interactive, exciting place to study, one that would stimulate the creative mind. A desk to work at and places to display all my mini clients colouring pencils, paints and equipment.
A bulkhead was incorporated in to a custom made storage cabinet making use of what was seen to be lost space.
Bespoke curtains and shelving give a special touch to the room making it unique and one of a kind.

THEME Doors are a visual frame to the
entrance of a great room. This highquality,
personalized element adds
fun and interest to the room before it
is even entered, and provides a great
introduction for any theme.
FOCUS The half-door offers unique
access to the room, providing a true
feeling of ownership for the child and
peace of mind for parents. The top half
of the door swings separate from the
bottom, maintaining great ventilation
and a clear view into the room.
GROWTH The doors look beautiful and
function normally for many years.
SAFETY The doors easily replace
unsightly baby gates and provide
the same level of restraint, without
the footholds or slats often used by
children to manipulate or climb gates.
Solid wood core birch construction
keeps sound out (or sound in) when
the door is closed, while a sliding
gate lock safely secures the bottom
half, and makes opening the top half
simple.

This Maxtrix system core bed is designed with higher bed ends (35.5 in), to create more space between top and bottom bunks. Our twin Basic Bed with medium bed ends serves as the foundation to a medium height bunk. Also fully functional as is, or capable of converting to a loft or daybed. www.maxtrixkids.com
Seasons in Colour
This room designed for a primary school boy incorporates everything he loves: a reading corner, a stack of books, and lots of colour. The Lego is carefully hidden away in a built in wardrobe. Only one wall is painted blue. The IKEA cabinet has been 'hacked' by adding leather handles from ETSY.

Curated Nest
When a 7 year old Brooklyn hip-kid is also an animal lover, you get this woodland boy's room, designed to grow and maximize storage. This small kid's bedroom features a storage bed, wall shelves, a spacious desk hutch, and a storage ottoman to accommodate ample toys and books, as well as a custom designed closet to suit a growing child's needs. Hipster Animals removable wallpaper is fun for a 7 year old, but still cheeky and cool enough for a teen. And while woodland animals abound, they are balanced by mature decor elements like neutral colors, dark blues, boyish plaid, and chic wool and leather textures meant to grow with child. This room is one of our favorite small space designs - it's fun, personalized, and makes the space look bigger--while also providing storage and function.
