Drewett WorksThis homage to prairie style architecture located at The Rim Golf Club in Payson, Arizona was designed for owner/builder/landscaper Tom Beck.
This home appears literally fastened to the site by way of both careful design as well as a lichen-loving organic material palatte. Forged from a weathering steel roof (aka Cor-Ten), hand-formed cedar beams, laser cut steel fasteners, and a rugged stacked stone veneer base, this home is the ideal northern Arizona getaway.
Expansive covered terraces offer views of the Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish designed golf course, the largest stand of Ponderosa Pines in the US, as well as the majestic Mogollon Rim and Stewart Mountains, making this an ideal place to beat the heat of the Valley of the Sun.

VanderHorn ArchitectsShip-lap walls and sliding barn doors add a rustic flair to the kid-friendly recreational space.
Company COur Lounge Lake Rug features circles of many hues, some striped, some color-blocked, in a crisp grid on a neutral ground. This kind of rug easily ties together all the colors of a room, or adds pop in a neutral scheme. The circles are both loop and pile, against a loop ground, and there are hints of rayon in the wool circles, giving them a bit of a sheen and adding to the textural variation. Upscale ConstructionThis Marin County project was constructed on a fast-track schedule. Design decisions and construction had to occur jointly in order to maintain aggressive critical-path deadlines. In order to ensure milestones were met, subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections were closely managed with clear communications between architect, designer, owner, and contractor.
Tommaso Giunchi ArchitettiLa zona giorno è stata divisa da una grande vetrata con doppia anta a libro per la flessibilità di rendere questo spazio integrato al soggiorno o separabile per una eventuale seconda camera da letto. In questo secondo caso una grande tenda copre l'intera vetrata per dare privacy. Un armadio disegnato su misura definisce il volume cella casa che inizia dal corridoio e finisce con una piccola libreria a giorno vicino alla finestra.
