Anew InteriorsWith space on the balcony for a wicker couch and chair, we transformed this area into a beautiful outdoor room, adding square footage to the renters' living space. Don't be afraid to mix and match patterns, bringing your favorite colors together.

Cabinet-S-TopIn this kitchen we updated the existing cabinets with new Richelieu transitional brushed nickel knobs and pulls. We installed a 3cm Granite Giallo Napolean with 3/8” bevel edge and 4” high backsplash countertop. The tile backsplash is Durango 3x6 beveled. A Lenova stainless steel undermount sink was installed with a Moen Arbor pull down faucet in stainless steel and a Kichler Keller single bulb pendant with schoolhouse-style glass shade installed over the sink.

Since the kitchen is 'the heart of every home' and 'everyone always ends up in the kitchen at a party' our brief was to create an open plan space respecting the buildings original internal features and highlighting the large sash windows that over look the garden.

Jack CalderoneUnder the stairs, I built a shed for storing yard tools and other supplies. Space was limited so I designed it to wrap around under the stair landing as well. The door of the shed also includes built-in shelves for even more storage.

Jennifer Grey Color Specialist & Interior DesignCompleted on a small budget, this hard working kitchen refused to compromise on style. The upper and lower perimeter cabinets, sink and countertops are all from IKEA. The vintage schoolhouse pendant lights over the island were an eBay score, and the pendant over the sink is from Restoration Hardware. The BAKERY letters were made custom, and the vintage metal bar stools were an antique store find, as were many of the accessories used in this space. Oh, and in case you were wondering, that refrigerator was a DIY project compiled of nothing more than a circa 1970 fridge, beadboard, moulding, and some fencing hardware found at a local hardware store.
