CUSTOM CRAFT - Design Build RemodelOne of the homeowners' renovation goals was to incorporate a larger gas cooktop to make meal preparation easier. The cooktop is located conveniently between the sink and the refrigerator. Now, not only is the kitchen more functional, it's also much more appealing to the eye. Note the handsome backsplash medallion in a strong neutral color palette which adds visual interest to the room and compliments the granite counter and maple cabinetry.
Creative Zen, Inc. Landscape Designer & ContractorKoi pond in between decks. Pergola and decking are redwood. Concrete pillars under the steps for support. There are ample space in between the supporting pillars for koi fish to swim by, provides cover from sunlight and possible predators. Koi pond filtration is located under the wood deck, hidden from sight. The water fall is also a biological filtration (bakki shower). Pond water volume is 5500 gallon. Artificial grass and draught resistant plants were used in this yard.

one house greendue to lot orientation and proportion, we needed to find a way to get more light into the house, specifically during the middle of the day. the solution that we came up with was the location of the stairs along the long south property line, combined with the glass railing, skylights, and some windows into the stair well. we allowed the stairs to project through the glass as thought the glass had sliced through the steps.

Ekman Design StudioUsing an 1890's black and white photograph as a reference, this Queen Anne Victorian underwent a full restoration. On the edge of the Montclair neighborhood, this home exudes classic "Painted Lady" appeal on the exterior with an interior filled with both traditional detailing and modern conveniences. The restoration includes a new main floor guest suite, a renovated master suite, private elevator, and an elegant kitchen with hearth room.

Company CCircles of many hues, some striped, some color-blocked, in a crisp grid on a neutral ground, are fun yet work in a wide range of settings. This kind of rug easily ties together all the colors of a room, or adds pop in a neutral scheme. The circles are both loop and pile, against a loop ground, and there are hints of rayon in the wool circles, giving them a bit of a sheen and adding to the textural variation. You’ll find an autumnal palette of golden Dijon, ripe Bittersweet, spiced Paprika and warm Mushroom brown running throughout this collection. Also featuring Camden Sofa and Madison Chair with ottoman in our Cascade fabric.

Witt ConstructionA European-California influenced Custom Home sits on a hill side with an incredible sunset view of Saratoga Lake. This exterior is finished with reclaimed Cypress, Stucco and Stone. While inside, the gourmet kitchen, dining and living areas, custom office/lounge and Witt designed and built yoga studio create a perfect space for entertaining and relaxation. Jenni Leasia Interior DesignThe island is stained walnut. The cabinets are glazed paint. The gray-green hutch has copper mesh over the doors and is designed to appear as a separate free standing piece. Small appliances are behind the cabinets at countertop level next to the range. The hood is copper with an aged finish. The wall of windows keeps the room light and airy, despite the dreary Pacific Northwest winters! The fireplace wall was floor to ceiling brick with a big wood stove. The new fireplace surround is honed marble. The hutch to the left is built into the wall and holds all of their electronics.
