The Todd GroupThis garden pathway links the front yard to the backyard area. Perennials and shrubs bloom throughout the season providing interest points that change from week to week. Creeping thyme and other flowering plants fill in the spaces between the irregular stone pathway.
ROAM ArchitectureThese new homeowners fell in love with this home's location and size, but weren't thrilled about it's dated exterior. They approached us with the idea of turning this 1980's contemporary home into a Modern Farmhouse aesthetic, complete with white board and batten siding, a new front porch addition, a new roof deck addition, as well as enlarging the current garage. New windows throughout, new metal roofing, exposed rafter tails and new siding throughout completed the exterior renovation.
Pike PropertiesWorking with an award winning home design firm, this home was conceptualized and planned out with the utmost in attention to detail. Unique architectural elements abound, with the most prominent being the curved window set with extended roof overhang that looks a bit like a watch tower. Painting that feature a dark color, ensured that it remained noticeable without overtaking the front facade.
Extensive cedar was used to add a bit of rustic charm to the home, and warm up the exterior. All cedar is stained in Benjamin Moore Hidden Valley. If you look at each side of the highest gable, you will see two cedar beams flaring out. This was such a small detail, but well worth the cost for a crane and many men to lift and secure them in place at 30 feet in height.
Many have asked the guys at Pike what the style of this home is, and neither them nor the architects have a set answer. Pike Properties feels it blends many architectural styles into one unique home. If we had to call it something though, it would be Modern English Country.

The Lazy GardenerA refurbished Queen Anne needed privacy from a busy street corner while not feeling like it was behind a privacy hedge. A mixed use of evergreen trees and shrubs, deciduous plants and perennials give a warm cottage feel while creating the privacy the garden needed from the street.
CGD Landscape DesignThe scree garden, under the shade of tall pine trees, but catching sun in the summer months. Carpets of foliage, with different colours and textures creating a tapestry that last through the seasons, before being submerged under metres of snow in the harsh winter.
AquaTerra OutdoorsThis pool and spa is built in an affluent neighborhood with many new homes that are traditional in design but have modern, clean details. Similar to the homes, this pool takes a traditional pool and gives it a clean, modern twist. The site proved to be perfect for a long lap pool that the client desired with plenty of room for a separate spa. The two bodies of water, though separate, are visually linked together by a custom limestone raised water feature wall with 10 custom Bobe water scuppers.
Quality workmanship as required throughout the entire build to ensure the automatic pool cover would remain square the entire 50 foot length of the pool.
