Reico Kitchen & BathIn collaboration with DeLuna Designs, Shanae Mobley of Reico Kitchen & Bath in Springfield, VA designed a transitional two-finish kitchen remodel featuring Merillat Classic and Masterpiece cabinetry.
The perimeter cabinets are Merillat Classic in the Portrait 5-piece door style in the Cotton finish, paired with Merillat Masterpiece island cabinets in the Martel door style in Rustic Alder with a Husk finish.

Storie CollectiveStripped of its original charm with sagging floors and water leaks, this 1900 row house was prime for a full renovation. While the staircase and marble fireplace are original, everything from the white oak flooring, crown, applied, and base moldings, to the archways and brass door hardware is new; yet they all feel original to the house. Other projects included removing soffits and tucking away randomly placed support beams and posts, relocating and expanding the kitchen, renovating each bathroom – and adding a new one, upgrading all the mechanical, electric and plumbing systems, removing a fireplace, and regrading the back patio for proper drainage and added greenery. The project is a perfect study of juxtaposing new and old, classic and modern.

Lori Dennis Interior DesignModern Dining Room in an open floor plan, sits between the Living Room, Kitchen and Backyard Patio. The modern electric fireplace wall is finished in distressed grey plaster. Modern Dining Room Furniture in Black and white is paired with a sculptural glass chandelier. Floor to ceiling windows and modern sliding glass doors expand the living space to the outdoors.
StoneUnlimited Kitchen and Bath RemodelingThese two en suite master bathrooms are a perfect place to unwind and relax. Both rooms have been remodeled to be distinct and to suit both of our client's needs and tastes.
The first bathroom showcases a large deep overmount jetted tub with surrounding deck, deck mounted tub filler and hand shower, a vanity area and water closet. Alluring Mother of Pearl mosaic tile shimmers in the arched recessed window area, side splashes of tub, as well as on the full height of the walls on the vanity side. Large format Nolita Ambra tile was installed on the floor as well as on apron of the tub deck. Beautiful Taj Mahal quartzite vanity tops on painted existing cabinetry bring together the various finishes in the bathroom.
In the adjoining room there is a walk-in shower, vanity, and water closet. The Large 24x48 Nolita tile is the focal point and absolutely stunning. The tile has been installed on the floor as well as on the walls inside the shower up to the high ceiling. The grandeur of the walk-in shower is magnificently elegant and makes one feel like they are in a 5-Star resort and spa.

M-Squared Contracting Inc.This original 90’s home was in dire need of a major refresh. The kitchen was totally reimagined and designed to incorporate all of the clients needs from and oversized panel ready Sub Zero, spacious island with prep sink and wine storage, floor to ceiling pantry, endless drawer space, and a marble wall with floating brushed brass shelves with integrated lighting.
The powder room cleverly utilized leftover marble from the kitchen to create a custom floating vanity for the powder to great effect. The satin brass wall mounted faucet and patterned wallpaper worked out perfectly.
The ensuite was enlarged and totally reinvented. From floor to ceiling book matched Statuario slabs of Laminam, polished nickel hardware, oversized soaker tub, integrated LED mirror, floating shower bench, linear drain, and frameless glass partitions this ensuite spared no luxury.
The all new walk-in closet boasts over 100 lineal feet of floor to ceiling storage that is well illuminated and laid out to include a make-up table, luggage storage, 3-way angled mirror, twin islands with drawer storage, shoe and boot shelves for easy access, accessory storage compartments and built-in laundry hampers.
Ellerbrock "Bad und Küche" GmbHMatte Schrankfronten und glänzende Arbeitsflächen ergänzen sich in der modernen SieMatic-Küche zu einem eleganten Ensemble mit besonderem Flair. In die Wand eingelassene, deckenhohe Schränke bergen hinter grifflosen Großformat-Fronten Platz für Elektrogeräte, Küchenutensilien und Vorräte.
Der große Raum wurde stilvoll mit zwei Küchenzeilen und einer mittigen Insel eingerichtet, um den Flügeltüren in den Garten ebenso Platz zu geben wie dem offenen Zugang zum Esszimmer. Dabei wurde eine Zeile als deckenhoch gestaltete Schrankwand konzipiert, in der Küchen-Elektrogeräte modernster Varianten vom Backofen über den Konvektomaten bis hin zu weiterführenden Kühlmöglichkeiten wie dem Getränkekühler mit Glasfront integriert wurden. Die weitere Zeile bietet Stauraum und ergänzende Stellflächen zur praktisch und komfortabel gestalteten Kücheninsel mit den Arbeitsbereichen.
Die Kücheninsel wurde geräumig und mittig platziert, wodurch kurze Arbeitswege entstehen. Spülbereich und Kochstelle liegen nah beieinander, erhalten jedoch durch die üppigen Stellflächen viel Bewegungsfreiheit. Für die Erreichbarkeit von Vorräten und Küchenutensilien reicht die Drehung zur Schrankwand, in der zudem die hoch eingebauten Küchengeräte bereitstehen. Die Spüle wurde mit einer eleganten Einhebelmischgarnitur in mattem Schwarz ergänzt, auf Ablaufflächen wurde hingegen verzichtet. Der Kochbereich kommt hingegen mit einem modernen Dunstabzug zum Einsatz, der in das Ceranfeld eingelassen wurde.
Glatte Oberflächen mit fließenden Übergängen an Fronten und Arbeitsflächen geben nicht nur optischen Schick, sondern sorgen auch für pflegeleichte Reinigungseigenschaften in der täglichen Nutzung. Als stilvolles Highlight findet sich eine moderne Glasvitrine als Ecklösung, um hübsches Geschirr und Gläser apart und praktisch erreichbar zu machen.
Sheila Rich Interiors, LLCThe mood and character of the great room in this open floor plan is beautifully and classically on display. The furniture, away from the walls, and the custom wool area rug add warmth. The soft, subtle draperies frame the windows and fill the volume of the 20' ceilings.
Britany Hanthorn with MBS InteriorsThe house on Blueberry Hill features Starmark's inset cabinets in White with a Blueberry island and Walnut floating shelves. We used Cambria's Britannica quartz counters, Berenson Hardware's Swagger pulls in modern brushed gold, and Sensio cabinet lighting.

Haile Kitchen & Bath LLCThis stunning Gainesville bathroom design is a spa style retreat with a large vanity, freestanding tub, and spacious open shower. The Shiloh Cabinetry vanity with a Windsor door style in a Stonehenge finish on Alder gives the space a warm, luxurious feel, accessorized with Top Knobs honey bronze finish hardware. The large L-shaped vanity space has ample storage including tower cabinets with a make up vanity in the center. Large beveled framed mirrors to match the vanity fit neatly between each tower cabinet and Savoy House light fixtures are a practical addition that also enhances the style of the space. An engineered quartz countertop, plus Kohler Archer sinks and Kohler Purist faucets complete the vanity area. A gorgeous Strom freestanding tub add an architectural appeal to the room, paired with a Kohler bath faucet, and set against the backdrop of a Stone Impressions Lotus Shadow Thassos Marble tiled accent wall with a chandelier overhead. Adjacent to the tub is the spacious open shower style featuring Soci 3x12 textured white tile, gold finish Kohler showerheads, and recessed storage niches. A large, arched window offers natural light to the space, and towel hooks plus a radiator towel warmer sit just outside the shower. Happy Floors Northwind white 6 x 36 wood look porcelain floor tile in a herringbone pattern complete the look of this space.
Kowalske Kitchen & BathCreating a space to entertain was the top priority in this Mukwonago kitchen remodel. The homeowners wanted seating and counter space for hosting parties and watching sports. By opening the dining room wall, we extended the kitchen area. We added an island and custom designed furniture-style bar cabinet with retractable pocket doors. A new awning window overlooks the backyard and brings in natural light. Many in-cabinet storage features keep this kitchen neat and organized.
Bar Cabinet
The furniture-style bar cabinet has retractable pocket doors and a drop-in quartz counter. The homeowners can entertain in style, leaving the doors open during parties. Guests can grab a glass of wine or make a cocktail right in the cabinet.
Outlet Strips
Outlet strips on the island and peninsula keeps the end panels of the island and peninsula clean. The outlet strips also gives them options for plugging in appliances during parties.
Modern Farmhouse Design
The design of this kitchen is modern farmhouse. The materials, patterns, color and texture define this space. We used shades of golds and grays in the cabinetry, backsplash and hardware. The chevron backsplash and shiplap island adds visual interest.
Custom Cabinetry
This kitchen features frameless custom cabinets with light rail molding. It’s designed to hide the under cabinet lighting and angled plug molding. Putting the outlets under the cabinets keeps the backsplash uninterrupted.
Storage Features
Efficient storage and organization was important to these homeowners.
We opted for deep drawers to allow for easy access to stacks of dishes and bowls.
Under the cooktop, we used custom drawer heights to meet the homeowners’ storage needs.
A third drawer was added next to the spice drawer rollout.
Narrow pullout cabinets on either side of the cooktop for spices and oils.
The pantry rollout by the double oven rotates 90 degrees.

Staircase – We updated the staircase with a barn wood newel post and matte black balusters
Fireplace – We whitewashed the fireplace and added a barn wood mantel and pilasters.
JRP Design & RemodelOur clients wanted the ultimate modern farmhouse custom dream home. They found property in the Santa Rosa Valley with an existing house on 3 ½ acres. They could envision a new home with a pool, a barn, and a place to raise horses. JRP and the clients went all in, sparing no expense. Thus, the old house was demolished and the couple’s dream home began to come to fruition.
The result is a simple, contemporary layout with ample light thanks to the open floor plan. When it comes to a modern farmhouse aesthetic, it’s all about neutral hues, wood accents, and furniture with clean lines. Every room is thoughtfully crafted with its own personality. Yet still reflects a bit of that farmhouse charm.
Their considerable-sized kitchen is a union of rustic warmth and industrial simplicity. The all-white shaker cabinetry and subway backsplash light up the room. All white everything complimented by warm wood flooring and matte black fixtures. The stunning custom Raw Urth reclaimed steel hood is also a star focal point in this gorgeous space. Not to mention the wet bar area with its unique open shelves above not one, but two integrated wine chillers. It’s also thoughtfully positioned next to the large pantry with a farmhouse style staple: a sliding barn door.
The master bathroom is relaxation at its finest. Monochromatic colors and a pop of pattern on the floor lend a fashionable look to this private retreat. Matte black finishes stand out against a stark white backsplash, complement charcoal veins in the marble looking countertop, and is cohesive with the entire look. The matte black shower units really add a dramatic finish to this luxurious large walk-in shower.
