As a tip, remember your outlets on the island, (this one is on the back side) for when you want to plug in crock pots or other appliances, or the kids need to do crafts, etc. I also suggest to have your cabinet maker to included finished end panels (or dummy doors) that look like the doors, rather than smooth skins. It gives a more finished look and when you only have functioning doors on one side, it ties in much nicer all around.
