AHMANN LLCAn open plan within a traditional framework was the Owner’s goal - for ease of entertaining, for working at home, or for just hanging out as a family. We pushed out to the side, eliminating a useless appendage, to expand the dining room and to create a new family room. Large openings connect rooms as well as the garden, while allowing spacial definition. Additional renovations included updating the kitchen and master bath, as well as creating a formal office paneled in stained cherry wood.

This swimming pool measures 16’0” x 38’0”, and has a separate Hot Tub measuring 8’0” x 10’0”. Both swimming pool and hot tub have automatic pool safety covers with a custom vanishing stone lid system. Both swimming pool and spa have LED colored lights, Limestone Coping, and Bluestone decking. Colored laminar jet fountain features provide a dramatic vertical element to the space, and the in-floor cleaning system keeps the pools clean and tidy. The pool and hot tub surface color is Cobalt.

SV DesignOn the site of an old family summer cottage, nestled on a lake in upstate New York, rests this newly constructed year round residence. The house is designed for two, yet provides plenty of space for adult children and grandchildren to come and visit. The serenity of the lake is captured with an open floor plan, anchored by fireplaces to cozy up to. The public side of the house presents a subdued presence with a courtyard enclosed by three wings of the house.

Boasting a main foyer that offers a stunning custom built wall paneled system that wraps into the framed openings of the formal dining and living spaces. Attention is drawn to the fine tile and granite selections with open faced nailed wood flooring, and beautiful furnishings. This Magnolia, a Markay Johnson crafted masterpiece, is inviting in its qualities, comfort of living, and finest of details.

UserIn this master bathroom renovation, a Crema Marfil marble was selected for the floor and tub deck, as the movement of the tile was complementary to that in the existing Alabaster tile used for the shower walls. With continuity in mind, Crema Marfil was also selected for the vanity tops and a mocha glazed, canvas finish was specified for the vanities themselves. By choosing a rich, neutral color for the walls, the designer ensured that the cream and brown tones in all the materials would appear dominant, unifying those materials and giving the room a warm, relaxing feel.
Windsor CompaniesThe entire grounds of this Lake Minnetonka home was renovated as part of a major home remodel.
The orientation of the entrance was improved to better align automobile traffic. The new permeable driveway is built of recycled clay bricks placed on gravel. The remainder of the front yard is organized by soft lawn spaces and large Birch trees. The entrance to the home is accentuated by masses of annual flowers that frame the bluestone steps.
On the lake side of the home a secluded, private patio offers refuge from the more publicly viewed backyard.
This project earned Windsor Companies a Grand Honor award and Judge's Choice by the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association.

Talianko Design Group, LLCA master bedroom with an ocean inspired, upscale hotel atmosphere. The soft blues, creams and dark woods give the impression of luxury and calm. Soft sheers on a rustic iron rod hang over woven grass shades and gently filter light into the room. Rich painted wood panel molding helps to anchor the space. A reading area adorns the bay window and the antique tray table offers a worn nautical motif. Brass fixtures and the rough hewn dresser remind one of the sea. Artwork and accessories also lend a coastal feeling.
LORRAINE G VALE, Allied ASIDOne of the main features of the space is the natural lighting. The windows allow someone to feel they are in their own private oasis. The wide plank European oak floors, with a brushed finish, contribute to the warmth felt in this bathroom, along with warm neutrals, whites and grays. The counter tops are a stunning Calcatta Latte marble as is the basket weaved shower floor, 1x1 square mosaics separating each row of the large format, rectangular tiles, also marble. Lighting is key in any bathroom and there is more than sufficient lighting provided by Ralph Lauren, by Circa Lighting. Classic, custom designed cabinetry optimizes the space by providing plenty of storage for toiletries, linens and more. Eminent Interior DesignWhen the family of five moved into this lakeside home on Lake Minnetonka, a gourmet kitchen was in order. Their interior designer, Brandi Hagen of Eminent Interior Design transformed the all –white room by melding a traditional tile backsplash, beautifully light-stained maple floors, a bead-board ceiling with a contemporary black and white color scheme. The original white upper cabinets remain light and airy in contrast to the elegant, black lower cabinets and appliances. The tile backsplash and center-island granite features incorporate all colors to unify the interior designed space.
