Living spaces go prairie/zen/mid-century . . . if that's even possible
This is our living space, in a 1970-80-built California home. Note the bad built-in cabinets (suggestions please?) in the dining area . . . and the low slanted ceiling in the dining area. Friends have suggested painting the wood ceiling white, but I can't bring myself to do it. Any thoughts? The Minka "San Francisco" ceiling fan is new. We love it . . .
