The sofa is flanked by two tub chairs (one was removed for the photo). The poster is wrong for the space. Instead, a large horizontal piece should be hung about 8 inches above the sofa. The traditional area rug brings together all the colors used in the apartment while grounding the seating area, and providing a foil for the sleek contemporary decor. Robin Lechner Designs
