LaRue ArchitectsNestled in a narrow lot, the house structures move lengthwise throughout the site to allow for various dynamic gathering areas. Tactile limestone, organic shell stone, vertical standing seam wall panels, and warm cedar siding create the perfect materials palette for this urban infill home.

AlphaStudio Design GroupCentered on seamless transitions of indoor and outdoor living, this open-planned Spanish Ranch style home is situated atop a modest hill overlooking Western San Diego County. The design references a return to historic Rancho Santa Fe style by utilizing a smooth hand troweled stucco finish, heavy timber accents, and clay tile roofing. By accurately identifying the peak view corridors the house is situated on the site in such a way where the public spaces enjoy panoramic valley views, while the master suite and private garden are afforded majestic hillside views.

BP Kitchens & InteriorsThis kitchen used an in-frame design with mainly one painted colour, that being the Farrow & Ball Old White. This was accented with natural oak on the island unit pillars and on the bespoke cooker hood canopy. The Island unit features slide away tray storage on one side with tongue and grove panelling most of the way round. All of the Cupboard internals in this kitchen where clad in a Birch veneer.
The main Focus of the kitchen was a Mercury Range Cooker in Blueberry. Above the Mercury cooker was a bespoke hood canopy designed to be at the correct height in a very low ceiling room. The sink and tap where from Franke, the sink being a VBK 720 twin bowl ceramic sink and a Franke Venician tap in chrome.
The whole kitchen was topped of in a beautiful granite called Ivory Fantasy in a 30mm thickness with pencil round edge profile.

Betty Wasserman Art & InteriorsThis 7,000 square foot space located is a modern weekend getaway for a modern family of four. The owners were looking for a designer who could fuse their love of art and elegant furnishings with the practicality that would fit their lifestyle. They owned the land and wanted to build their new home from the ground up. Betty Wasserman Art & Interiors, Ltd. was a natural fit to make their vision a reality.
Upon entering the house, you are immediately drawn to the clean, contemporary space that greets your eye. A curtain wall of glass with sliding doors, along the back of the house, allows everyone to enjoy the harbor views and a calming connection to the outdoors from any vantage point, simultaneously allowing watchful parents to keep an eye on the children in the pool while relaxing indoors. Here, as in all her projects, Betty focused on the interaction between pattern and texture, industrial and organic.
Project completed by New York interior design firm Betty Wasserman Art & Interiors, which serves New York City, as well as across the tri-state area and in The Hamptons.

building Lab, inc.this remodel for a retired couple in sea cliff reconfigures the two most used areas of the house; the kitchen and master bedroom. the eat in kitchen gains functionality and flow by relocating the laundry and powder rooms. this generates the opportunity to realize vast improvements daylighting as well as connection to the back yard. relocation of the master suite relies on conversion of a windowless hallway/closet into master bath. the potential claustrophobia of this room is overcome by detailing of the skylight well to maximize available light. simple removal of a doorway refines en-suite continuity with the bedroom.
Rhodes Architecture + LightThe roofline of the residence and the simple Portland cement plaster and stained clear western red cedar create an archetypal image of “house”. The West of Market Residence has a formal entrance facing the street and layered gardens, terraces, and balconies facing the private rear yard. A cedar trellis under the overhanging roof at the master suite lends an outdoor feeling to a southern garden balcony.

DKOR Interiors Inc.- Interior Designers Miami, FLA young Mexican couple approached us to create a streamline modern and fresh home for their growing family. They expressed a desire for natural textures and finishes such as natural stone and a variety of woods to juxtapose against a clean linear white backdrop.
For the kid’s rooms we are staying within the modern and fresh feel of the house while bringing in pops of bright color such as lime green. We are looking to incorporate interactive features such as a chalkboard wall and fun unique kid size furniture.
The bathrooms are very linear and play with the concept of planes in the use of materials.They will be a study in contrasting and complementary textures established with tiles from resin inlaid with pebbles to a long porcelain tile that resembles wood grain.
