““Square One Design needed only minimal input and direction before coming back with the perfect design - it was such an easy process for me. Mark was working within a challenging situation; the kitchen was part of an extension, so dimensions and timelines frequently changed. He was resolutely professional & provided clear communication throughout the necessary adjustments.
During the installation, the SQ1 team was extremely conscientious, paying meticulous attention to detail. as if working on a kitchen in their own house, which was reassuring. Of all the tradesmen working on the house, they were definitely the tidiest!
The end result is a triumph - frequently complimented (particularly the very special concealed drawers), and a pleasure to admire every time I walk in the room. I would not hesitate to recommend Square One Design to anyone.

“When does something as practical as a bit of storage evolve not just into a piece of furniture but into our very own unique work of art. This was the process we went through with Jake. The amount of time and care he took in ensuring everything was spot on was admirable. It took a while to appreciate that it wasn’t just about building something practical but that it was to be “designed” and this is where Jake really excelled. If I’m honest, we were slightly overwhelmed by the options but in the end we left a number of decisions up to him to make in the knowledge that we knew it would look fantastic. From a brushed steel finger gap around the cupboard doors to staining the oak worktops with the same oil as our oak floor, the end result is striking whilst thankfully being as practical as we need it!”

“My Black Walnut instrument housing is a complex design that's very difficult to make. It's even more difficult to repeat the process twenty-five times and maintain the quality.

These are, by far, the best housings I have ever had made for my clocks - the quality of the work, the wood and the finishing, to make these gorgeous items, is breath-taking.”

“Cameron's team at London Alcove fitted built-in cupboards either side of the chimney breast in our living room. Not only were they a delight to work with, but the units have transformed the room.
They gave me excellent guidance as to what sort of colour and style would work best (the opposite of what I had in mind), and the job was finished to a high standard with impressive attention to detail. If they noticed something wasn't quite right, that I couldn't even see, they took it back to the workshop and replaced it. Although this added a couple of weeks to the project it was no inconvenience and I knew it meant I was getting the best product.
There were no hidden expenses and the team were very reliable, pleasant and never left a mess. I would use them again without a doubt.”
