We lifted this house several feet in the air, and reworked all the interior spaces to accommodate three private guest suites, each complete with their own bathroom. The beachy, casual vibe carries throughout the spaces, thanks to the owners' (an architect/artist duo) creative vision. Because our home is a two-bedroom, we use our second room for an office and guest room. We built a custom lofted bed and bookshelf out of salvage robin's egg blue bead board and sustainable plywood. Simply climb the large lip of the book shelf ladder to get to your own lofted space, equipped with a 3/4 full mattress and plenty of pillows. Jacob Hand

Who says boys can't have pink!
Who says boys can't have pink!
Lee & Allan DesignLee & Allan Design
When it came to updating my 15 year old son's bedroom, I wanted to stay clear of traditional 'boys' colours and themes. Therefore to modernise this space I decided to create some bold simplistic art with water colour crayons. This art work was then digitally printed onto fabric and sewn into custom cushions. Team these cushions with classic black and white chevron bedding, an oversized Lucci decorative globe from beacon lighting and some colourful accessories and you have your self a contemporary teen bedroom.
