Amy Carman DesignWhen planning this custom residence, the owners had a clear vision – to create an inviting home for their family, with plenty of opportunities to entertain, play, and relax and unwind. They asked for an interior that was approachable and rugged, with an aesthetic that would stand the test of time. Amy Carman Design was tasked with designing all of the millwork, custom cabinetry and interior architecture throughout, including a private theater, lower level bar, game room and a sport court. A materials palette of reclaimed barn wood, gray-washed oak, natural stone, black windows, handmade and vintage-inspired tile, and a mix of white and stained woodwork help set the stage for the furnishings. This down-to-earth vibe carries through to every piece of furniture, artwork, light fixture and textile in the home, creating an overall sense of warmth and authenticity.
Signature Designs Kitchen | Bath | InteriorsLight and Airy shiplap bathroom was the dream for this hard working couple. The goal was to totally re-create a space that was both beautiful, that made sense functionally and a place to remind the clients of their vacation time. A peaceful oasis. We knew we wanted to use tile that looks like shiplap. A cost effective way to create a timeless look. By cladding the entire tub shower wall it really looks more like real shiplap planked walls.

Affectionately called The Magnolia, a reference to the architect's Southern upbringing, this project was a grass roots exploration of farmhouse architecture. Located in Phoenix, Arizona’s idyllic Arcadia neighborhood, the home gives a nod to the area’s citrus orchard history.
Echoing the past while embracing current millennial design expectations, this just-complete speculative family home hosts four bedrooms, an office, open living with a separate “dirty kitchen”, and the Stone Bar. Positioned in the Northwestern portion of the site, the Stone Bar provides entertainment for the interior and exterior spaces. With retracting sliding glass doors and windows above the bar, the space opens up to provide a multipurpose playspace for kids and adults alike.
Nearly as eyecatching as the Camelback Mountain view is the stunning use of exposed beams, stone, and mill scale steel in this grass roots exploration of farmhouse architecture. White painted siding, white interior walls, and warm wood floors communicate a harmonious embrace in this soothing, family-friendly abode.

Vicki Simon Interior DesignNew mid-century style furniture replaced existing contemporary set. New lighting included this George Nelson bubble lamp. Custom concrete dining table with inset glass and shells. Custom made back door to match entry doors to the house.
Allard + Roberts Interior Design, IncThe floating vanity was custom crafted of walnut, and supports a cast concrete sink and chrome faucet. Behind it, the ship lap wall is painted in black and features a round led lit mirror. The bluestone floor adds another layer of texture and a beautiful blue gray tone to the room.
American Music Furniture Company, LLCThis humidity controlled guitar display cabinet is made of solid Hawaiian Koa wood. The interior is Koa and flame maple. The lower section of the cabinet has shelving.
The Creative Kitchen CompanyThe perfect kitchen for a young family on the go. Natural light floods into this colorful, cheery kitchen with a seriously long kitchen island perfect for all the food prep, homework and Saturday morning DIY projects this family will be sharing, This kitchen is filled with some impressive tech and gadgets from the state of the art smart fridge that keeps track of grocery lists, family schedules, recipes and more to the sleek under-mount sink with multiple work station interchangeable accessories, drain shelves, and cutting boards to name a few. The corner chest freezer is one of our favorite hidden treasures - this was custom built with a top loading hinge tucked beneath the wood countertop surface.
Architectural WorkshopOpening the second floor allows for a full 2-story entrance, that includes a grand central staircase of heavy stacked timber with leather tread inlays greets visitors at the front entry.

Victor SmithMaster bathroom expansion. The original bathroom was only 30 -40 square feet. My customer asked me to expand into the adjoining closet and vanity area, more than tripling the space. There were load bearing obstacles that had to be modified and windows were added. The shower has a shower head, hand held sprayer and two body jets. The tub is large and holds up to 54 gallon and is 6 feet long.
