Chisholm DesignThis beautiful, solid wood, in-frame Shaker kitchen was part of a complete house renovation. The client wanted a light, airy and practical kitchen. It includes large island, American-style fridge/freezer framed by built-in larder units providing plenty of food storage and a bi-fold butler unit neatly houses all the tea and coffee making equipment. An electric/induction hob range cooker is complemented by a Quooker boiling water tap, providing plenty of instant boiling water. The units were were supplied by The White Kitchen Company and hand-painted in Farrow and Ball Railings on the island and Drop Cloth for the remainder. The light quartz worktop is Silestone 'Lagoon'.
John McClain DesignCustom iron stair rail in a geometric pattern is showcased against custom white floor to ceiling wainscoting along the stairwell. A custom brass table greets you as you enter.

Sustainable KitchensShaker kitchen cabinets painted in Farrow & Ball Hague blue with antique brass knobs, pulls and catches. The worktop is Arabescato Corcia Marble. A wall of tall cabinets feature a double larder, double integrated oven and integrated fridge/freezer. A shaker double ceramic sink with polished nickel mixer tap and a Quooker boiling water tap sit in the perimeter run of cabinets with a Bert & May Majadas tile splash back topped off with a floating oak shelf. An induction hob sits on the island with three hanging pendant lights. Two moulded dark blue bar stools provide seating at the overhang worktop breakfast bar. The flooring is dark oak parquet.

Carolina CoopsCustom Carolina Coop in Charlottesville, VA. The chicken coop’s overall footprint is 10’ x 40’ with a 6' x 10' henhouse. It has board and batten siding, electric, 2 run doors, (one is a Dutch door) 3 chicken run doors, a fully-functional cupola, new transom style windows and a heated poultry watering system. Island Cabinetry by Plato Woodwork Inc. , countertop is Cambria from Absolute Marble and Granite in Color: Ella, The new island increased the island seating and storage for this kitchen and introduces a contrasting finish for the cabinetry that adds additional interest along with convenient storage.
