Downtown Loft
Due to zoning issues, the owners of this loft overlooking the airport were not allowed to put any posts or supports underneath, but they were allowed to build the deck! With that in mind, the engineer designed a steel frame deck that was supported solely by bolting 4 large welded steel plates to the building in 4 separate locations on the masonry walls. The result is the small but usable patio that hangs on the side of the building!
