SAV Architecture + Design
Living : The double height living space overlooks the pool and with its slide and fold doors open the space to the coconut lined pool and surrounding landscape. Cane furniture and a green upholstered sofa reflect the sinuous architectural elements within the house as well as the tropical Goan craft and local materials. The wooden artwork wall on one side of the wall made of reused teak wood gives warmth to the entire space .
LiLu Interiors
Chris and Marna believe in Ohana Mau Loa which means “family forever.” As return clients, they knew LiLu could help them build a vacation home in Hawaii that would provide a desirable and comfortable gathering place for four adult children and their spouses and 11 grandchildren. A central common space at the heart of the home with separate living quarters surrounding it helps to accommodate everyone with both shared and personal living spaces. Each has its own personality that showcases playful references to Big Island life. And yet the overall design concept weaves together a love of world travel with traditional tastes. Built with mahogany wood that is a staple of island construction, treasured heirlooms and other personal keepsakes are the perfect complement to make this dream home feel welcoming and familiar. Fabrics, finishes and furnishings were selected with the sea in mind and to accommodate wet swim suits, bare feet, and sandy shoes.

Project designed by Minneapolis interior design studio LiLu Interiors. They serve the Minneapolis-St. Paul area including Wayzata, Edina, and Rochester, and they travel to the far-flung destinations that their upscale clientele own second homes in.

Tova and Wild
For Aby's space one of the most important things to consider was lighting. Aby's Upholstery specializes in custom upholstered furniture so a light color palette accenting furniture was key. We kept pops of color to a minimum but wanted it to nod to Mexican and Americana vibes with little touches of modernity.

Fresh and feminine. You would never guess that this apartment is slap bang in the middle of the city. The design revolves around clashing but complementary prints and avoids a busy feel by maintaining a cohesive palette throughout. Photography by Richard Kiely.
Pineapple House Interior Design
The original style of the 1980's Florida home included angled walls, multiple niches and high display ledges. Pineapple House designers removed the wall separating the kitchen and living area, and squared-off the interior angles, including the formerly vaulted ceilings. They maintained architectural interest with elements like coffered ceilings and visually interesting dark, contrasting wooden walls that define the kitchen.
