Hello KitchenThe breakfast area was built out with a new L-shaped banquette, and a new metal top dining table pairs with bistro chairs painted Buttermilk yellow to match the appliances. The original 1850's era maple wood walls and flooring were preserved.

A newly connected hallway leading to the master suite had the added benefit of a new laundry closet squeezed in; the original home had a cramped closet in the kitchen downstairs. The space was made efficient with a countertop for folding, a hanging drying rack and cabinet for storage. All is concealed by a traditional barn door, and lit by a new expansive window opposite.
Sustainable KitchensGlazed oak cabinet with LED lights painted in Farrow & Ball Chappell Green maximise the space by making the most of the high ceilings. The unified colour also creates a more spacious feeling. Pine table with chapel chair hint at the origins of the house as an old chapel with the limestone flooring adding to the rustic feel.
Earthcore IndustriesIsokern Standard fireplace with beige firebrick in running bond pattern. Gas application.
