This Scandinavian-style kitchen was designed for a London-based Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist and her busy family. This calm haven, hand-painted in Farrow & Ball’s Oval Room Blue with bold Buster and Punch brass handles, provides the perfect backdrop to create healthy recipes and eating plans for her clients.

A nostalgic washing-up area that accommodated a traditional plate rack allowing plates and pans to drip dry into the Shaws of Darwen sink below. A professional Miele dishwasher has been included for a super quick wash cycle of 19 minutes; perfect when entertaining large groups. Integrated waste and recycling bins complete this run of base cabinets.

For this project we made all the bespoke joinery in our workshop - staircases, shelving, doors, under stairs bar -you name it - we made it.

An amazing social space incorporating the kitchen, an island to seat 6, a liquid metal bar, wine storage and a 10 person dining table. All the furniture was over-sized to suit the scale of the room and the 3 metre high ceilings.

Huge stacker doors and gas strut windows finished in monument mat black, open up the space. Timber accents in the fan, the bar top and bar ceiling (queensland maple), bring warmth to the bar. The varied greys and browns in the Travertine, laid in a french pattern, gives interest without distraction.The pressed metal panels to the front of the bar give a modern twist on an old fashioned English bar. mike newell status images
