L'espace de vie a été conçu comme un dialogue subtil entre la rigueur des lignes architecturales et la douceur des textures imparfaites et nobles. L'objectif : créer une ambiance feutrée et minimaliste, où le luxe s'exprime par le silence visuel et la richesse tactile des matériaux. ​ L’aménagement s’articule autour d’un contraste puissant et sophistiqué : Le Mur en inox Texturé : Un revêtement texturé brute habille le mur principal (espace média), offrant une toile contemporaine et contrastante. L’Ébénisterie Flottante : Un agencement sur mesure en bois foncé et profond (évoquant l'esthétique du bois noble), s'étire en suspension. Il intègre le meuble TV et des bibliothèques, apportant une chaleur structurante tout en conservant une légèreté épurée. ​ L’ensemble est traité comme une architecture intégrée et fonctionnelle : le rangement est optimisé, les lignes sont franches. Cette rigueur est adoucie par l'ajout de pièces de designer aux formes organiques et accueillantes (fauteuils, canapé). ​ Les accents contemporains — luminaires sur rail, lampes à poser sculpturales et objets décoratifs noirs mats — sont choisis pour leur forme graphique, créant un contraste net et sophistiqué avec les surfaces chaudes du bois et les matériaux doux. ​ Le résultat : un salon/bureau minimaliste et intemporel. Un lieu à la fois fonctionnel pour l'espace de travail attenant et méditatif pour la détente, où la dualité des matériaux — la rudesse métallique et la douceur des textiles — s'harmonise dans une interprétation très raffinée du luxe.

This home office is one of our favourite rooms in the house. The navy blue wood veneer finish creates a sophisticated feel and there is enough natural light and bright touches to ensure the space doesn't feel too dark.

Waterside Apartment overlooking Falmouth Marina and Restronguet. This apartment was a blank canvas of Brilliant White and oak flooring. It now encapsulates shades of the ocean and the richness of sunsets, creating a unique, luxury and colourful space.

The owner also wanted a home office. In order to make this space feel comfortable and warm, we painted the walls with Lick's lovely shade "Pink 02".
