Heller & AssociatesDesigning and executing a modern kitchen has its challenges but also its rewards as demonstrated by this Huntington Woods kitchen. The sink wall is flanked on either side by towers, which center off of the expansive window. The flush Italian cabinetry is fitted into the adjoining walls with precision. Waterfall edges capture the island and cascade on either side of the sink cabinetry

Jones ArchitectureThe silestone white counter matches the Ikea standard white cabinets. Open shelving is used for everyday dishware and located directly over the sink and dishwasher to facilitate access. The red accent wall continues out of frame left into the dining room and wraps into the living room. Cork flooring is soft underfoot and dampens acoustic levels. The pantry (center doorway in middle of image) is concealed with a hanging translucent Ikea sliding screen. Connections to the hall (tall doorway) and living room (at right) make for a transparent and open kitchen relationship with the rest of the condo.

Tara Lew InteriorsQuartz countertops were a great choice for two busy cooks, and the glass and stone mosaic gave great texture to the space.
Aura Design BuildThis Austin family wanted an updated kitchen in their Highland Hills home. We added a gorgeous blue Moroccan tile backsplash for a burst of color and built-in cabinetry and shelving for storage galore.
The white cabinets are a nice contrast to the blue tile and new stainless appliances (plus a stainless farmhouse sink!). Picture frame windows open up the space, and there's plenty of seating at the island, which is also tiled.
