MAKHNO studioThe owner travels a lot, especially because she loves Thailand and Sri Lanka. These countries tend to mix modernity with traditions, and we did the same in the interior. Despite quite natural and rustic feels, the apartment is equipped with hi-tech amenities that guarantee a comfortable life. It’s like a bungalow made of wood, clay, linen and all-natural. Handmade light is an important part of every MAKHNO Studio project. Wabi Sabi searches for simplicity and harmony with nature.
Mosaik Design & RemodelingThis small space now packs a modern punch with floor to ceiling white Herringbone tile and a deep green floating vanity. The Mid Century sconces give this bathroom a ton of style.
Umber InteriorsBuilt in wardrobes conceal multifunctional storage. Inside the mirrored wardrobe are eight drawers and space for hanging. There is also ample vertical shoe storage. Wicker baskets have been used to create additional storage, whilst also adding in a natural texture and colour into the space.
Warren French InteriorsA coastal Scandinavian renovation project, combining a Victorian seaside cottage with Scandi design. We wanted to create a modern, open-plan living space but at the same time, preserve the traditional elements of the house that gave it it's character.
Mercury Mosaics and TileLike the rest of this home, the bathroom has a modern Scandinavian aesthetic that includes natural wood cabinetry along with brass and bronze finishes. We stayed true to the room’s style by opting for neutral colors and glazes.
